Procedure for Contacting Calendar Customers
Identify yourself by name and that you are a Lions Club member. Say, “I’m calling regarding our community birthday calendar”.
If this is an existing customer ask, “Would you like to renew your calendar for the coming year? If they are renewing ask, “Do you have any changes, additions, deletions or other corrections?”.
Record these next to family listing on the call sheet.
If a family is new to the area ask, “Would you like to be listed on the Lions Club Birthday Calendar?”.
The calendar year starts on April 1 st and goes through March 31 st .
Calendars cost $15.
Calendars are available in mid to late March.
Ask, “How many calendars would you like to purchase?”
Profits from the sale of calendars are used for general operation and maintenance for the Choteau Lions swimming pool, tennis/basketball courts, providing eye exams or glasses for qualified individuals and funding of various student projects in school, 4-H and Scouts.
Obtain names, birthdates, a phone/cell number (good for texting). You may want to get an address of where to deliver their calendar(s).
Record this information on the form that is attached to the back of the call list.
Calendars are delivered between mid to late March. We would like to collect the calendar money at the time of delivery.
